All illustrations and images that I, Sara Lou, have created for this web site and/or illustrations that I have been commissioned for are protected from misappropriation, misuse, and unauthorised use by copyright law and international copyright treaties, as well as other laws and treaties that uphold intellectual property rights.
I retain the right to use any art that has been commissioned to promote my work. Promotion includes the right to use these illustrations on my blog, in other social media, and to use these as examples of my work. Anyone using any of my illustrations must obtain my permission in advance and if the illustration is used for commercial purposes must have paid me an agreed upon fee before using any illustration. Any illustration used in any way must contain a credit indicating that Sara Lou is the illustrator. Anyone granted permission to use any of my illustrations is subject to these policies.
Shipping
I ship primarily using Standard AusPost for which there is a shipping and handling charge. Shipping and handling charges are based on current rates and fees. Depending on the size and nature of a particular order, an alternate shipping method may be required. The customer is always responsible for shipping and packaging fees.

Return Policy
Many of my products are original one-off artworks or limited prints. In addition, paper products are very fragile and do not travel well. I pack my artwork as sturdy as I can so please be careful when unpacking the artwork. Everything is lovingly packaged by yours truly. I am unable to offer refunds or returns for change of mind. Thank you for understanding!
Please contact me within 14 days and I must receive your return within 30 days from the date you received it.
If an item arrives damaged, contact me immediately before sending it back to me. Please also save all packing materials, in case an insurance claim is applicable. The buyer pays return postage and I don’t refund the original postage or any International import fees, surcharges, or taxes.
Because of the nature of these items, I can’t accept returns for:
- Custom or personalised orders
- Items on Sale
- Digital Items

Do you combine orders?
Yes, on orders placed at the same time, I will ship in one box/letter. I ship through Australia Post. Tracking is included in the shipping price on all orders.
What are your International Shipping Policies?
I am able to ship paintings and prints to some countries outside of Australia. Please find the list of countries eligible here.
Do you make all your artwork?
YES! All the artwork in my shop is created and drawn by me. I print and send all of my items listed here directly from my studio in Melbourne, Australia. All prints and originals are signed and dated.
